Think of everything you used this morning. Water to wash. Food to eat. Air to breathe. None of it announced itself as the natural world. It just showed up.
Here is the part easy to miss. The same three things you used are also the ones people damage. Waste goes into the river. Chemicals build up in soil worn out by the wrong kind of farming. Fumes from vehicles and factories thin the air.
So the relationship runs two ways, not one: people take, and people give back — rarely as clean as what came out. Green skills are the answer when taking outpaces what the environment can give back. This unit names what pushes that balance over, and why every job needs to notice it.
A common answer for "environment" is "the outdoors" — too loose, as CBSE states it exactly:

Turn the three answers into a three-panel poster: the problem, the resource at risk, and the action. Big or small does not matter — real and specific does.

The two sentences force the standard-vs-green distinction — that is the exam-ready thinking.
The second two-mark question on this unit: define the green economy, and state any two reasons why it matters.
A tired answer writes: "It is important because it reduces environmental risks." That sentence sounds like a reason, but it just repeats a clause already inside the definition — "reducing environmental risks" sits inside the TERMDEF sentence itself. A repeated clause earns no second mark; restating a definition is not the same as giving a reason that stands apart from it.
A reason must say something new: real jobs in sustainable sectors, and resource availability secured for the long term. Reasons must be different from the definition — restating it earns no mark.
Weaker. Two correct reasons alone are not the full answer — this question is worth two separate marks, and the first is for the definition itself.
Stronger. Mark 1 — the green economy definition, stated correctly. Mark 2 — two reasons distinct from that definition: job creation in sustainable sectors, and long-term resource availability secured.
